Harmony Elements: Frequently Asked Questions

What holds Elements together?
Harmony assembles Elements with an adhesive specially designed for our product. This adhesive is proven to be up to five times stronger than concrete, and will hold up longer than concrete.
Are concrete slabs and footings required?
Harmony recommends a slab and footings for the Fireplace units. For other Elements, a heavily compacted gravel base of 6 inches is recommended.
Do I need a special permit?
We always recommend contacting your local government regarding the installation of Elements. Regulations differ from location to location. Keep in mind that the Elements Fireplaces are UL rated just as an indoor fireplace would be. Elements fireplaces have a contained flame, much different from a fire pit with an open flame.
Can I change colors, sizes, and shapes?
Absolutely. Please contact Harmony Outdoor Living at 800-332-6842 to learn the many options you have with Elements.
What options are available?
Elements additions include lighting, speakers, bar sinks, upgraded grills, and refrigerators. Please contact Harmony Outdoor Living at 800-332-6842 to learn the many options you have with Elements.
What are the warranty terms?
The components carry warranties from Napolean, DESA, Unilock, Chicago Brick Oven, Outdoor Kitchens. Or, contact Harmony Outdoor Living at 877-332-6842.
Can natural gas be used in the grill island or fireplace?
Yes. A licensed plumber will be recommended to run the gas line, and perform the hook up. Your local Harmony dealer/rep can assist you with any details.
How soon can I get one?
Contact Hardscapes USA, your local Harmony dealer for availability. Custom/Semi Custom Elements may require longer wait times depending on the range of custom work needed.
